Several government organizations and private banks have taken precautionary measures as cyber criminals threatened to attack Bangladesh’s cyberspace.

Confirming the matter, Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) Legal and Media Wing Director Commander Khandaker Al Moin said they are working in this regard.

He was responding to a question from journalists at a press conference organized at RAB Media Center in Karwan Bazar of the capital on Tuesday (August 15).

When asked if there is any activity of RAB regarding the threat of cyber-attack, he said, “Along with other government organisations, we have also taken several security measures.”

“Our IT experts are working on this, and necessary measures have been taken to keep ourselves protected,” the RAB official added.
