Two brothers died from electrocution at a vegetable field in Rupsha upazila of the district on Monday (August 21) night.
 
The deceased were identified as Modasser Sheikh and Iqbal Sheikh, sons of late Sarwar Sheikh, residents of Anandnagar village of the upazila.
 
Officer-in-Charge of Rupsa Police Station Md. Shahin confirmed the matter to Banglanews.

He said they came in contact with the live electric wire while crossing the vegetable field near their house at midnight. They died on the spot.
 
The bodies were sent to Khulna Medical College Hospital (KMCH) morgue for autopsy, the OC said.
