DHAKA: Airport customs authority recovered four Kilograms gold from a flight of Tiger Airways at Shahjalal International Airport in the city on Thursday night.

Customs Assistant Commissioner Wazed Ali told banglanews, “Custom officers found four gold bars weighing one kilogram each in an abundant LED television box which was put at conveyer belt around 10:00pm.”

Market price of the gold bars is about Tk2 crore, he added.

Earlier, Customs officers seized huge gold from laptop charger, soap case, computer equipments.
