A total of 152 platoons of BGB have been deployed across the country, including 27 platoons in Dhaka and surrounding districts, to maintain law and order situation based on the blockade called by BNP-Jamaat. 

BGB public relations officer Shariful Islam confirmed the matter today (November 12).

Sufficient numbers of BGB platoons are also kept on standby, he said.

Besides, 460 patrol teams of RAB forces, including 160 teams in the capital, have been deployed across the country, ANM Imran Khan, media officer-2 of RAB Headquarters, added.
