Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-1 caught a central leader of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD), the student wing of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), red-handed while torching a passenger bus in Dhaka’s Abdullahpur area.

The detainee is Assistant Organising Secretary Mamun Majumder, 35.

RAB Commanding Officer (CO) Lt. Col. Muhammad Ahmad confirmed the matter to Banglanews.

Mamun Majumder was caught red-handed while torching the bus from Abdullahpur, he added.
