Syed Shukur Ali Shuvo and Mohiuddin have been elected president and general secretary of Dhaka Reporters unity (DRU) respectively for the next one year.

Senior journalist Manjurul Ahsan Bulbul, chief election commissioner of DRU elections, announced the result on Thursday (November 30) evening.

The DRU election voting began at 9am and continued till 5pm without any break.

According to report, total 1,404 votes were cast in the election, of which Shuvo got 583 votes and Mohiuddin got 607 votes.
