CHUADANGA: Miscreants hurled two petrol bombs at the village home of Chief Election Commissioner Kazi Rakibuddin Ahmed at Andulbaria village under Jibonnagar upazila of the district early Friday.

The incident took place at around 12:00am.

None was resided in the house.

Witness said a six-member police team used to patrol the house. Miscreants launched the attack after the police team left the spot at midnight.

Jibonnagar thana Officer-in-charge Moshiur Rahman confirmed the matter to banglanews.
