A fire broke out at Love Leen Restaurant on Shah Makhdum Road in Uttara Sector 12 in the capital at 10:38am on Friday (December 20). 

The first firefighting unit arrived at the scene immediately after the fire started.

Fire Service Media Officer, Anarul Islam Dolan, confirmed the matter.

As of now, seven individuals have been successfully rescued from the blaze, while a total of 12 firefighting units are working together to contain the fire. 

The reason behind the fire could not be known immediately.
