3 killed in Jessore road crashes

JESSORE: Three people were killed and injured 10 others in separate road accidents on Airport road of the town and in Bahadurpur area on Jessore-Magura highway on Friday.

The identity of the deceased – a child aged 12 and man aged 55—could not be known immediately.

Local and injured told banglanews that the Jessore-bound human hauler locally known as Nosimon tumbled upside down on the road after being hit by a mini truck hit coming from opposite direction at around 12:00pm, leaving two passengers dead on the spot and injured others.

The bodies were sent to Jessore Medical College Hospital for autopsy.

Kotwali model thana officer-in-charge Emdadul Haque confirmed the matter to banglanews.

On the other hand, a rashly-driven truck ran over an unidentified pedestrian on airport road of the divisional city in the morning.
