DHAKA: Armed Police battalion (APBn) held eight Bangladeshis at Shahjalal International Airport on Friday noon as they were trying to go to Italy illegally by a flight of Bangladesh Biman.

 
The detainees are- Imran Khan, 25, Billal Hossain, 24, Moin, 23, Jubayer, 24, Azizul Khan, 22, Jaber Ahmed, 23, Ansar Sardar, 25 and Parvej Hossain, 24.

 Sources said that the people entered boarding bridge to take cards at around 8:30am to go to Rome, the capital of Italy, illegally by flight BG-055 of Biman Bangladesh Airlines. Acting on tip off, airport authority nabbed them.

 APBn Senior Assistant Superintendent of Police Iqbal Hossain confirmed the matter to banglanews.
