DHAKA: Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has denied 18-party to permit mass gathering in front of BNP’s Nayapaltan central office on December 29 in the name of March for Democracy.

DMP deputy commissioner Masudur Rahman confirmed the matter to banglanews on Friday afternoon.

On December 24, BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia urged people from every corner of the country to march towards the capital on December 29 to resist the January-5 election.
