Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL) authorities on Thursday (February 15) announced that metro trains will arrive at a station in every 8 minutes from February 17 considering the pressure of passengers.
MAN Siddique, managing director of DMTCL, said that they will operate trains every eight minutes during peak hours and every 10-12 minutes during off-peak hours.
Meanwhile, Metro rail trains are operating on the Uttara-Motijheel route from 7:30am to 8:40pm.
The gap between the arrival of trains in each station is 10 minutes during peak hours and 12 minutes during off-peak hours.
