GAZIPUR: Wife of Assistant Superintendent of Industrial Police of Gazipur Sadar M Aminul Islam was found dead at her residence in the city on Tuesday morning.

The deceased was identified as Sufia Islam, 32.

On information, police rushed to the spot and recovered her body at around 9:15am and sent the body to Gazipur Sadar Hospital for an autopsy.
 
Owner of the house Shamima Begum said that she came to know about the suicide after waking up in the morning.

Police suspect that she might have committed suicide. Owner of the house and deceased’s son Siam, 13, were taken to police custody for interrogation.  

Officer-in-Charge of Joydevpur Thana SM Kamaruzzaman confirmed the matter to banglanews.
