TANGAIL: A Tangail court on Monday placed 20-day remand to Zakaria and Rasel in a case filed over snatching three JMB men at Trishal upazila in Mymensingh district.    

Senior Judicial Magistrate Sonia Ahmed passed the remand order when Sakhipur police produced them before the court with a 20-day remand each in two explosives cases.    

Officer-in-Charge of Sakhipur Thana Mokhlesur Rahman confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Earlier on Sunday, three convicts of Jama’atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) escaped from a prison van at Trishal upazila in Mymensingh district.
     
A police man was killed and two injured when JMB cadres snatched the prisoners at gunpoint in a daring attack in broad daylight.
