TANGAIL: Police recovered fire arms and bombs from Garo Bazar area under Ghatail Upazila of the district on Tuesday morning.

Sources said that after the prisoners’ hajcking, Madhupur and Ghatail Thana Police in a joint drive were trying to hold the escaped prisoners.

Then police found an excluded bag at around 9:30am in the area.

Meanwhile, police recovered six pistols, four bombs, 41-round bullets and eight magazines from the spot.

Acting Superintenent of Police Hasibu Alam confirmed the matter to banglanews.
