BOGRA: GrameenPhone (GP) inaugurated third generation (3G) of mobile telecommunications technology here on Wednesday morning.

Deputy Commissioner of Bogra Shafiqur Reza Biswas inaugurated the high speed mobile technology through a video call at 10:00am at Jaleswaritola customer care centre.

Addressing the inauguration program, he said, “Nowadays internet has reached to people and we need to make sure that even the villagers can get the benefit.”

Additional Police Super of the district Syed Abu Sayem, Bogra Chamber of Commerce and Industries President Masudur Rahman Milon and Bogra Press Club President Rezaul Hasan Ranu were among others present at the function.
