DHAKA: Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) held a man with 100 gold bars after searching him in front of the National Press Club on Saturday night.

The disclosure came from a press conference regarding the matter on Sunday evening.

The identity of the detainee could not be known. The weight of the seized gold is about 11-kg

Legal and Media Wing Director of RAB-3 ATM Habibur Rahman told banglanews that the man was detained in front of the National Press Club after searching a white car.

The official of the elite force further said that the detained is being interrogated.
