The National Moon Sighting Committee will hold a meeting on Saturday evening to review the information on the appearance of the new moon for Ramadan 1446 Hijri. The meeting will determine the official start date of the holy month.

The session will be held at 6 PM at the Islamic Foundation Conference Room in Baitul Mukarram National Mosque, Dhaka.

Religious Affairs Adviser AFM Khalid Hossain will preside over the meeting.
