Burn victim succumbs at DMCH

DHAKA: A worker, who was badly burnt in the fire incident at depot of Jamuna oil, a state-owned oil marketing institution, died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) on Wednesday noon.

The deceased was identified as Shamdul Islam.

Family sources said that Shamsul along with six other injured was admitted in DMCH on March 1. Later, he succumbed to his injuries around 12:00pm Wednesday.

On February 28, a devastating fire broke out at Jamuna oil depot of Patenga area of Chittagong when workers were working on pipe-line welding in the depot, leaving nine workers burnt.
