DHAKA: Newsroom Editor of banglanews24.com Mahmudul Islam Roni died of a massive heart attack on Monday morning.

He was 25.

Mahmudul Islam breathed his last at capital’s Apollo Hospital around 7:30am.

Colleagues said that Roni on his way to office covered news of a road accident in capital’s Banani area and attended office early Monday.

At one stage, he felt sever pain in his chest while he was working in the office.

Later, colleagues rushed him to adjacent Apollo Hospital and doctor kept Roni on life support.

Mahmudul Islam left behind a child and wife and numerous well-wishers.

Roni completed his master’s decree from Islamic University in Kushtia and joined banglanews in 2013.

Banglanews Editor-in-Chief Alamgir Hossain expressed deep shock at the early death of Mahmudul Islam Roni.

Alamgir Hossain as well as Banglanews family expressed their heartfelt sympathy to his bereaved family.
