Fire at Rupganj dyeing factory

RUPGANJ, NARAYANGAJ: A fire broke out at a dyeing factory in Barpa area under Rupganj Upazila of the district on Wednesday morning.

The cause of fire origination could not be known immediately.

Witnesses said that the fire originated at the chemical section of Antim Dyeing and Finishing factory at around 11:30am and soon spread out to adjacent area.

On information, four fire fighting units rushed to the spot and brought the blaze under control at around 1:30pm.

No causalities were reported yet.
