Chairman of Bashundhara Group, Ahmed Akbar Sobhan, has expressed deep sorrow and condolences over the passing of Ashiqur Rahman, Coordinator Manager of Afroza Begum Diagnostic and Consultation Centre in Dhaka.

In a condolence message, the Bashundhara Group Chairman said, “On behalf of all members of the Bashundhara family and myself, I extend my heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family of Ashiqur Rahman. I pray for the forgiveness of his soul and ask the Almighty to grant his family the strength and patience to endure this irreparable loss.”

Ashiqur Rahman passed away at 1:00 am on Friday (18 April) due to cardiac arrest. He was 48 years old at the time of his death. He leaves behind his wife, a daughter, and numerous well-wishers.
