However, the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) forecast isolated rain or thundershowers accompanied by lightning and gusty winds at one or two places in Sylhet division.
A mild heatwave is currently sweeping across Khulna division and Sirajganj district and may extend to adjoining areas, the BMD said in its latest bulletin.
Daytime temperatures are likely to rise by 1 to 2 degrees Celsius, while nighttime temperatures may increase slightly across the country.
The highest temperature on Wednesday was recorded at 36.8°C in Khulna and Chuadanga, while the lowest was 19.8°C in Sylhet.
In Dhaka, sunset is expected at 6:31 pm, with sunrise at 5:19 am on Friday.
