DHAKA: Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) member Dr Selim Mahmud said that if there is any specific complain against power department officials, the commission will take action.

He came up with the assertion while replying a question of the readers of banglanews on the special program of public opinion regarding power price hike on Wednesday.

A reader of banglanews asked to know about the source of income of the officials of power department.

Following the matter, Dr Selim Mahmud said, “BERC supervise the power department. And it’s not their duty to check the account of any officials. But if we get any specific grumble, we will take action”.
