Tanzida Papri, Newsroom Editor (Reference) at BanglaNews24.com, passed away on Monday (June 16) morning at Holy Family Red Crescent Medical College Hospital in Dhaka. 

She was 46.

Her husband, Syed Md. Saiful Islam, confirmed the matter.

He said Tanzida had long been suffering from kidney-related complications. 

“She suffered a stroke shortly after Eid and was admitted to the ICU of Holy Family Hospital on June 11. Despite ongoing treatment, she passed away at 10:00 am today,” he said.

Tanzida Papri was a respected member of the Banglanews team. She was known for her dedication, professionalism, and warm personality, earning the admiration of colleagues and peers over her years of service.

Originally from the College Road area of Barisal Sadar, she had been living in Dhaka.

Acting Editor of Banglanews Tawhidul Islam Mintu, along with the entire Banglanews family, expressed profound grief over her passing and extended heartfelt condolences to her family.
