DHAKA: A bus driver was run over by another bus in city’s Sayedabad area on Friday night.

The deceased was identified as M Hira Mia, 28, a driver of Balaka Paribahan bus service.

Witnesses said that a rashly driven passenger bus rammed into Hira while he was repairing his own bus in the area around 9:30pm, leaving him injured critically.

He was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries around 10:00pm.

The body was taken to hospital morgue for autopsy.
