GAZIPUR: An SSC examinee was killed in a road accident on Dhaka-Tangail highway in Naojor area of the district on Saturday morning.

The deceased was identified as Ashiquzzaman, 17, son of Abdul Salek Miah.

Witnesses said that a rashly driven bus rammed Ashiq while he was crossing the highway around 9:30am, leaving him dead on the spot.

Confirming the matter to banglanews, Naojor Highway Thana Sergeant Iqbal Hossain said, “The body was sent to Gazipur Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.”
