DHAKA: Standing committee for law, justice and parliamentary affairs ministry has recommended for running evening court.

According to the committee, around 26 lakh cases are pending in both higher and lower courts.

The recommendation has come to solve the cases, said president of the JS standing committee Suranjit Sengupta at a briefing at the media center of Jatiya Sangsad on Monday.

The committee, in its first meeting on Sunday at the committee room at the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban, made the suggestion in this regard, he added.
