DHAKA: The first session of the 10th parliament is likely to be extended for one week.
According to the decision of advisory committee the ongoing session was scheduled to end on April 3. But the session would be extended to April 10. But it depends on decision of advisory committee.
Parliament secretariat sources said that the first session would not end before April 10.
Basically the decision was taken to introduce the member of parliaments of reserved seats and give them scope to talk in the ongoing session.
Earlier on March 23, some 48 women Member of Parliament (MP) took oath and amongst them only some MPs joined in the discussion on speech of the President Abdul Hamid.
