DHAKA: Miscreants shot dead a youth in capital’s Kalabagan area early Tuesday.

The deceased was identified as Sadbin Hossain Sunny, 25, son of Shawkat Hossain Sunny and resident of Green Road area.

Police sources said that a gang of miscreants shot him while he was standing in front of LabAid Hospital around 1:00am, leaving him injured critically.

Locals rushed him to LabAid Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries on early morning.

The body was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.

A case was filed with Kalabagan Thana in this connection.

Sub-Inspector of Kalabagan Thana Shariful Islam confirmed the matter to banglanews.
