THAKURGAON: A new 50mw rental power plant here will go into operation Sunday to feed the power-hungry national grid.

Project Dirrector of Thakurgaon Power Plant Shahadat Sohen and Project Manager Emdadul Haq told banglanews24.com.bd that some 41 generators of the power plant have been examined beforehand.

“All kinds of porblems of each genaretor have been solved through test run for the last one week,” said both the executives.

They said 50-megawatt power can be added to the national grid from Sunday after generating power through the 41 generators.
