DHAKA: Speaker of Jatiya Sangsad Dr Shirin Sharmin Choudhury and deputy speaker Md Fazle Rabbi Mia expressed their profound shock at the death of eminent singer Bashir Ahmed.

Jatiya Sangsad’s public relations department sent the condolence messages.

In the condolence message, the Speaker said that numerous awesome songs like as "Onek Sadher Moyna Amar, Koto Asha Chilo Mone, Sojoni Go Bholobese Ato Jala, Amake Porate Jodi Ato Lage Bhalo established him as a unique altitude.

She also expressed her deep sympathy for the bereaved family members, relatives and admirers of the singer.

The Deputy Speaker, in his condolence message, said Bashir Ahmed was one of the brightest stars of the world of music. Through his death the music world lost one of the stars. The loss can not be fulfilled in anyway.
