GAZIPUR: Over 100 readymade garment workers have fallen sick due to food poisoning after having tiffin served at GM Tex Limited in Kashimpur Sultan Market area of the city on Tuesday night.

Local sources said some hundred workers of the garment factory fell sick after having the food from the garment’s canteen.

The ill workers were rushed to local clinics.

On Monday, Around 250 workers fell sick after having tiffin of Best Wool Apparels in Konabari area in the city.

Sub-Inspector of Chakrabarti Police Outpost Mizanur Rahman confirmed the matter to banglanews.
