NARAYANGANJ: Police detained twelve persons and seized a blood-stained microbus and mobile set of Chandan Sarkar during a raid at house of Nur Hossain, key suspect of N’ganj councilor Nazrul killing.     

Additional Police Super Zakaria (Head Quarter) confirmed the matter on Saturday afternoon.    

   Earlier at a press briefing, Additional DIG Golam Faruk said that a blood-stained shirt was also recovered from there and it would be checked whether it is blood while passport of Nur Hossain will also be checked.        

Later he urged all to give law enforcers some time to return law and order.   

Earlier, police started a raid at the house at 11:00am and no journalist was allowed to enter there.

On Wednesday, Narayanganj City Corporation Councilor Nazrul Islam, senior lawyer Chandan Kumar Sarkar and four others were found dead floating on River Shitalkkhya after 3-day of abduction.
