DHAKA: At least 34 people were killed in separate incidents across the country on Saturday.
The death list includes six females, workers, children and others that caused in separate incidents like thunderbolt that took 11 lives alone, launch capsize claimed another seven, road mishaps, electrocution and more.
At Patuakhli, seven people were reported dead and dozen more missing when a launch capsized in Kalagachhia River in Golachipa upazila of the district during a Nor’wester in afternoon.
Of the deceased, three were women.
Launch MV Shathil-1, carrying 30-40 passengers, was going to Patuakhali from Golachipa and turned over there.

At Chuadanga, a sexagenarian man was killed when a running truck crushed him in Bhulutia village of Sadar upazila.
At Brahmanbaria, a man was died and three others were injured critically when thunderbolt struck them in Telikandi of Sarail during cutting paddy at the field.
At Mymansingh, a youth was electrocuted in Andhariapara of Fulbaria upazila while connecting a computer with power.
