Robber gang surrenders in Bagerhat

BAGERHAT: Three members of a forest robbing gang, including the ringleader, surrendered to Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) on Thursday morning.

The robbers are Farid, gang leader of ‘Farid Bahini’, and his cohorts Jwel and Asad.

They surrendered to the RAB-8 at a place near Mrigamari Canal at Chanpain Range of East Sundarbans, and handed over five firearms and large number of bullets there.

RAB-8’s Captain Gulzal Ahmed confirmed the matter to banglanews from the sport.
