DHAKA: The government does not know whereabouts of Nur Hossain, key accused in sensational Narayanganj 7-killing.

Stame Minister for Home Affairs Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal MP came up with the observation to the media in the capital on Thursday noon.

Nur Hossain, main accused of sensational kidnapping and murder of seven persons, including Narayanganj City Corporation (NCC) panel mayor Nazrul Islam and lawyer Chandan Sarker, managed to flee.

Minister also said that they have issued alert so that three allegedly involved army officers who were sent to forced retirement could not flee.

Three officers of RAB-11, commanding officer Lieutenant Colonel Tarequie Sayed, Major Arif Hossain and battalion chief Lieutenant Colonel MM Rana of Bangladesh Navy were sacked for controversial roles during the seven-murder in the district.

On Wednesday, Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said the journalists that the decision had been taken on the basis of proper evidences.

He also said that government is tough and anytime they would disclose the names of involved persons.

On April 27, seven people including NCC panel mayor Nazrul Islam and lawyer Chandan Sarker were kidnapped in braod daylight.

Later on April 30, police recovered six bodies from Shitlakkhya River and on May 1, another body was recovered from the same spot.
