DINAJPUR: Road communication of the district became normal as the Transport Workers Union withdrew their indefinite strike in all routes here on Saturday night.
The union leaders called off the strike at 9:00pm after getting assurance from Jatiya Sangsad whip, and also Dinajpur-3 constituency lawmaker, Iqbalur Rahim.
Union general secretary Fazle Rabbi confirmed the matter to banglanews.
Earlier, the union enforced a transport strike for indefinite period centering a clash between the workers and students of Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University on May 7.
