6 flee Jessore Juvenile Centre

JESSORE: Six juveniles have fled away the district Juvenile Development Centre on Saturday night.

Details of the escaped could not be known yet.

Local sources said six juveniles tactically went out of the center at 9:00pm and did not come back, which the authorities came to know at 10:00pm.

On information, District deputy commissioner (DC Mostafizur Rahman, and superintendent of police (SP) Anusur Rahman and other high officials rushed to the center.

The SP told banglanews, “Search operation has begun to trace out the escaped teens.”

Sources said juveniles were allegedly punished at the center since several juveniles carried out vandalism at the Centre on May 4 centering a clash with cops.

The punishment sparked unenthusiastic reactions among them and they might have escaped for this reason.
