MYMENSIGNH: Two persons were killed in a road accident in Madhupur area in front of Jaman filling station under Tarakanda upazila of the district on Tuesday morning.

The deceased were identified as Al Amin, 18 and Shafiqul Islam, 26.

Local sources said that an auto rickshaw collided with a speedy truck in the area around 7:00am, leaving the two passengers of auto rickshaw dead on the spot.

Confirming the matter Tarakanda Thana Officer-in-Charge Ali Ahamed told banglanews, “The bodies were handed over to the families without autopsy.”
