DHAKA: A female physician died after falling from the third floor of a six-storey building in Bailey Road area in Ramna of the city on Tuesday afternoon.

The deceased was identified as Tania Rashid, 35, Sonologist at Popular Diagnostic Centre of Dhanmondi and wife of a Dr Masud Reza.

Confirming the matter, Khalid Hossain, cousin of the deceased, told banglanews that local people rushed critically injured Tania to Dhaka Medical College Hospital when she fell down from the building.

On duty doctor declared her dead later, he added.

The body was kept at the morgue of the DMCH, reported banglanews correspondent.
