Dhaka: Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Friday greeted all the Indian nationals for holding a free and fair Lok Sabha election this year.

Confirming this matter to banglanews the premier's information advisor Iqbal Sobhan Chowdhury said that she congratulates Indians after publishing result of 16th Lok Sabha election.

Sheikh Hasina greeted them for their united support to the progress of democracy.

India’s national election was arranged from April 7 to May 12.

The poll results on Friday shows Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi and his party as well as the BJP-led alliance unofficially won an absolute majority in the polls.
