KUSHTIA: Police arrested a suspected extremist along with a firearm and bullets from Madhupur near Islami University in the district town early Wednesday.

Police said arrested Mannan Dhali, 45, of village Piarpur in Sadar upazila, is a member of JSD Ganobahini

Acting on a tip-off, a contingent of police force, led by IU thana OC Mizanur Rahman, raided Madhupur area at about 2.30am and nabbed Dhali alongwith a light gun and three bullets.

OC Mijanur Rahman told banglanews24.com.bd Dhali was wanted in a number of cases including of murders.
