The retail price of 12-kg liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) has been reduced for the month of June by Tk 28 from the previous rate of Tk 1,431. 

The new price of a 12-kg LPG cylinder has been fixed at Tk 1,403.

Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) announced the new price rate at a press briefing held at Karwan Bazar in Dhaka on Monday (June 2).

The revised price came into effect from Monday evening.

In addition, the price of autogas has also been lowered. The new price has been set at Tk 64.30 per litre, down by Tk 1.27 from the previous rate.
