DHAKA: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will make a four-day official visit to Japan from May 25 for talks with her Japanese counterpart Shinzo Abe, the Foreign Ministry said Friday.
Hasina and Abe are expected to discuss ways to strengthen economic cooperation. The premier will also have an audience with Emperor Akihito on May 26, according to the ministry.
The 66-year-old daughter of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, founding father also the first president of Bangladesh, visited Japan as prime minister in 1997 and 2010.
