BOGRA: Siblings drowned in Sonatola upazila of the district on Saturday noon.

The deceased were identified as Milon, 8 and Shila, 6, son and daughter of one Sayed Ali, hailed from Hariakandi village of the upazila.

Local sources said the siblings drowned while playing by a pond near their house.

Later, family members found their floating bodies in the pond.

Chairman of Balua Union Principal Nasir Uddin Anju confirmed the matter to banglanews.
