Putul made specialist advisor of WHO Saima Wazed Putul

DHAKA: Saima Wazed Putul, daughter of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, was made specialist advisor of Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse (MSD) of World Health Organization (WHO) for four years.

Dr Margaret Chan, Director General of WHO, offered the responsibility to Saima Wazed Putul.

Mahbubul Haque Shakil, special assistant to the premier, confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Margaret said Saima was awarded in this international forum for her long time struggle to attract the focus towards the autistic children.

Saima would impart advice to the people based on her work experience and he would work here voluntarily, Mahbubul added.
