BSF kills Bangladeshi trader

JHENAIDAH: A Bangladeshi cattle trader was shot dead by the Indian Border Security Force (BSF) at Mohespur Hawladarpara border of the district early Tuesday.

The victim was identified as Ripan Mia, 25, son of Raihan Uddin of Sarishaghata village under the upazila.

BGB Srinathpur Camp Company Commander Habildar Abdul Halim said that BSF shot Ripan at Srinathpur frontier while he was going to India to bring cattle.

Protesting the incident BGB has sent a letter to BSF to sit-in flag meeting, he added.

Mohespur Thana Officer-In-Charge M Shajahan Ali also confirmed the matter to banglanews.
