TANGAIL: At least 50 villagers sustained injuries and 200 houses of five villages were damaged in one-minute Nor'wester on Wednesday. 

Locals said that the hasty storm blown of the house and trees of Khandakar Para, Moulavi Para, Pagla Para, Paschim Para and Jhopna village of Dhonbari upazila around 9:30 am, leaving 50 people injured.

They were rushed to the local clinic. 

The power supply was interrupted as Nor'wester uprooted three post of the Palli Bidyut. 

Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Syed Sariful Islam visited the affected area.

Dhonbari upazila chairman Mir Farukh Ahmed said to banglanews that aide would be given to the affected people.
