Man accused in murder held

DHAKA: Rapid action Battalion (Rab) arrested main accused of Madaripur double murder case from a hotel in Mohakhali area of the city on Monday.

The arrestee is Saifur Rahmam Shahin.

Operation officer Raihan Uddin Khan of Rab-2 confirmed the matter to banglanews.

They will brief about the arrest at 8:00pm, he added.

Earlier, a madrasa teacher and a pedestrian were shot dead in Tekerhat area of the district on Saturday night.
